![]() Why do people insist if they receive a text, they have to immediately open it and reply back? Texts do no self destruct if not read within 2 mins. I was at set of traffic lights this morning. I was the 2nd car. The woman driver in front was testing at the lights and when they went green, she didn’t go. I sounded my horn. She didn’t move until 40 seconds later whilst still texting. From the angle of her wing mirror, I could see she was texting. By the time she set off, the lights went red for me Most people will understand if you were unable to respond straight away and not be happy if you texted at traffic lights and caused traffic jams I often see drivers texting whilst driving. This is even more dangerous than talking on the phone whilst driving as you are concentrating on a screen than the road. People just leave the text messages until you reach your destination and if the phone rings, tough.

This makes me angry too scarlet. I also get very angry when i see women (and i am a woman myself) putting on their make up whilst driving.
