My car is an 08 plate. I bought it in Nov 2010 with 28k miles on the clock, and drive less than 1k miles per year. It’s on about 31/32k now.

I’ve had it serviced every year but only with interim services. I guess it had a major service in 2009 after 12 months.

I’ve been told after 4/5 years or around 30k miles, I should get a major service done to replace spark plugs and oil.

Should I do this or is it unnecessary? Any advice appreciated, thanks
